Growing up in the heart of Dallas, Texas, Drake’s career began when his mom forced him to audition for his middle school’s production of Willy Wonka Jr. In the process, Drake realized his dreams of playing baseball in the MLB had been superseded by a more realistic and financially stable passion – professional theatre. He is a recent graduate of George Mason University, (May ‘22), where he obtained a BFA in Musical Theatre. He is based out of New York City, where he can be found auditioning, dancing, and remaining actively involved at Steps On Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, and various other dance studios in the city such as PMT House of Dance and Brick House. He hopes to make others fall in love with theatre the same way he did the first time he put on Mike Teavee’s skinny jeans (?) and sang The Candy Man alongside his best friends in the world. 143
